A DANGEROUS COLLABORATION by Deanna Raybourn
A Veronica Speedwell Mystery, Book 4

My Highly Caffeinated Thought: A perfect historical mystery with tenacious characters and a deed most foul to uncover.
This series just keeps getting better and better! A DANGEROUS COLLABORATION is the latest installment of the Veronica Speedwell Mysteries where Veronica and Stoker grace us with their investigative skills in the most recent dastardly occurrence they are set to unravel.
Here is the thing. If you are a Sherlockian or a fan of historical mysteries filled with intrigue, hints of romance, and strong-willed characters, this is the series for you. Raybourn effortlessly transports us back to the 19th century with her ability to capture the sensibility of the time period as well as the atmosphere of the locations.
The author weaves together a story filled with murder, heart, and a bit of fun. Her characters, especially the women, are resolute in their convictions just as much as they give into their emotions. I love it all!
Series Note: Though you can read these books as standalone, I strongly suggest you start from book one and move your way through all the rest. There are relationships and instances which are only made richer by their backstories. Trust me…read all four in the series. It is well worth the time spent. Plus, if you are inclined to listen to audiobooks, they are really well done.
