My Highly Caffeinated Thought: A charming and completely entertaining read. Quintessential Louisa Clark.
STILL ME is the third book about the quirky and delightful Louisa Clark. After first meeting her in ME BEFORE YOU and continuing on her journey in AFTER YOU, I was ecstatic to find out that this third book was coming. Hands down, Louisa is one of my favorite characters to read. She always manages to get herself into some sort of situation that will inevitably leave me tearing up, laughing, and keeping me hoping for her happily ever after.
This book is exactly what you would expect from Moyes. Without skipping a beat, we are thrust back into Louisa's world only this time, she is in New York City. What I loved about this book was that Louisa was able to discover more of who she is and who she wants to be through the ups and downs life, yet again, throws at her. She is put to the test in this book and will have to make difficult decisions in order to make her own path.
From the opening pages, I knew that I would love this book. There isn't much not to love. The writing is sincere, witty, and engaging. Moyes effortlessly spins a tale that will not only make you smile, but also make you feel for the characters she portrays.
Oh Louisa Clark...how I have missed you and your bumblebee tights!

About the Book:
Louisa Clark arrives in New York ready to start a new life, confident that she can embrace this new adventure and keep her relationship with Ambulance Sam alive across several thousand miles. She steps into the world of the superrich, working for Leonard Gopnik and his much younger second wife, Agnes. Lou is determined to get the most out of the experience and throws herself into her new job and New York life.
As she begins to mix in New York high society, Lou meets Joshua Ryan, a man who brings with him a whisper of her past. Before long, Lou finds herself torn between Fifth Avenue where she works and the treasure-filled vintage clothing store where she actually feels at home. And when matters come to a head, she has to ask herself: Who is Louisa Clark? And how do you find the courage to follow your heart—wherever that may lead?
Funny, romantic, and poignant, Still Me follows Lou as she discovers who she is and who she was always meant to be—and to live boldly in her brave new world.
